This site runs on a server in Germany and is delivered through Cloudflare. When you open a page, the web server records your IP address, the time, the requested page and your browser's user agent. We use these access logs only to keep the service secure and to find errors. They are rotated automatically and kept only for a limited time.
Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) processes connection data on our behalf to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and working service, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
When you submit a bug report, idea or feedback, we store what you enter: the type, the project, the title and description, optional project details such as server software and versions, any attachments, and your contact details if you provide them. We also store your IP address to limit how many reports can be sent per hour, which protects the site from spam.
Your report can be seen by the MuteBefehl team and by anyone you share its link with. Replies are only possible with your personal link. When a new report or reply arrives, the team is notified in a private Discord channel with the title, a short excerpt, the project and, if given, your contact details. Discord is operated by Discord Inc. (USA).
Your IP address is deleted after one day. When a report is closed, its attachments and your contact details are deleted. The title and description are kept so we can keep track of the issue. You can ask us to delete a report completely at any time.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for handling your report, and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for spam protection.
The report form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people and bots apart. Turnstile evaluates technical signals from your browser and your IP address. It does not set tracking cookies. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
If a server owner turns on error reporting in MuteEssentials (it is off by default), the plugin sends error reports here: the error message and stack trace, plugin and server versions, basic system information and the sending IP address. They are only used to fix bugs.
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA).
